Zoomex.exe virus is a harmful adware infection used to promote SPAM
content and display unwanted advertisements on infected computers. It
also steals personal user information from targeted systems. Zoomex
extension is actually a freeware application installed to Firefox,
Chrome or Internet explorer browser. This software enables users to zoom
in and view facebook pictures or other online content. But on the other
hand, it starts displaying annoying pop-up advertisements to the users.
This program may even hijack you rbrowser and change home page and DNS
settings so you,ll be redirected to http://Zoomex.net website while
searching on Google. Zoomex virus is classified as a potentially harmful
add-on which should not stay in a computer in-order to keep your online
identity safe.
Disadvantages and risks of having Zoomex extension:
To manually remove Zoomex extension, follow the instructions.
First of all, Uninstall the program. (Skip to the next step if the application is not listed in Control Panel).
“Start > Settings > Control Panel. Now Locate and open “Add or Remove Programs” or “PROGRAMS AND FEATURES”. Find “Zoomex extension”. Now click Uninstall/Remove.
Now remove the program from Browser.
Internet Explorer users:
Click “Tools” (if on Internet Explorer 9, click gear icon), Then “Manage Add-ons”. Look for Zoomex extension. Disable if found any.

To stop pop-ups from malware,
Click on TOOLS > POP-UP BLOCKER, then click TURN ON POP-UP BLOCKER. and then go to POP-UP BLOCKER SETTINGS. (Type any website you wish to block popups from)
Firefox users:
Go to “Tools” (at the top), > “Add-ons” > “Extensions” and disable “Zoomex extension”
Chrome Users:
Click “Tools/Settings” (Wrench incon), > “Add-ons” > “Extensions” and disable any file associate with malware
