How to remove SmartBar virus. Uninstall search toolbar

SmartBar virus is a buggy toolbar application that if installed then will cause several harms to your PC. First of all, it gets installed without user knowledge and then hijacks browsers like Internet Explorer, Firefox, Chrome. It modifies default home page and DNS settings. If unfortunately it has attacked your computer, you,ll notice that each time you search on google, you get redirected to wrong websites associated with smartbar virus. Those sites display ads instead of original search results or lead you to spam content. This malware also makes the infected system slow down and it is used by hackers to collect personal user information and to monitor user`s online activities. Anyhow, to prevent further harms and browse risk freely, its recommended to uninstall SmartBar toolbar.

Want to get rid of Browser Hijack SmartBar Toolbar?:
To manually remove SmartBar Toolbar, follow the instructions.
First of all, Uninstall the program. (Skip to the next step if the application is not listed in Control Panel).
“Start > Settings > Control Panel. Now Locate and open “Add or Remove Programs” or “PROGRAMS AND FEATURES”. Find “SmartBar Toolbar”. Now click Uninstall/Remove.
Now remove the program from Browser.
Internet Explorer users:
Click “Tools” (if on Internet Explorer 9, click gear icon), Then “Manage Add-ons”. Look for SmartBar Toolbar. Disable if found any.
Block pop-ups of SmartBar Toolbar
To stop pop-ups from malware,
Click on TOOLS > POP-UP BLOCKER, then click TURN ON POP-UP BLOCKER. and then go to POP-UP BLOCKER SETTINGS. (Type any website you wish to block popups from)

 Go to “Tools” (at the top), > “Add-ons” > “Extensions” and disable “SmartBar Toolbar”
 Chrome Users:
Click “Tools/Settings” (Wrench incon), > “Add-ons” > “Extensions” and disable any file associate with malware.

Stop processes of this malware:
Open Task Manager to stop processes.
