Spy Alert virus is an unwanted app that can be added to a web browser
like Firefox, Internet explorer or Google chrome. As soon as Spy Alert
app has been installed, it will start collecting your very personal
information, monitors your activities and then sends your sensitive data
to hackers. The Spy Alert malware promises to provide some features for
facebook and other that will help you track your account but in
reality, this Spy Alert virus will itself spy your system. It even
causes commercial ads to appear on victim PC so its owners could make
profit from users. Anyhow, it is not safe at all to have Spy Alert virus
installed on your system, you must uninstall Spy Alert to prevent
damages to your machine.
Disadvantages and risks of having Spy Alert virus:
To manually remove Spy Alert virus, follow the instructions.
First of all, Uninstall the program. (Skip to the next step if the application is not listed in Control Panel).
“Start > Settings > Control Panel. Now Locate and open “Add or Remove Programs” or “PROGRAMS AND FEATURES”. Find “Spy Alert virus”. Now click Uninstall/Remove.
Now remove the program from Browser.
Internet Explorer users:
Click “Tools” (if on Internet Explorer 9, click gear icon), Then “Manage Add-ons”. Look for Spy Alert virus. Disable if found any.

To stop pop-ups from malware,
Click on TOOLS > POP-UP BLOCKER, then click TURN ON POP-UP BLOCKER. and then go to POP-UP BLOCKER SETTINGS. (Type any website you wish to block popups from)
Firefox users:
Go to “Tools” (at the top), > “Add-ons” > “Extensions” and disable “Spy Alert virus”
Chrome Users:
Click “Tools/Settings” (Wrench incon), > “Add-ons” > “Extensions” and disable any file associate with malware.

Open Task Manager to stop processes.
