The Sea App malware is a creepy plugin added to browsers which floods
the infected computer with SPAM. It displays countless pop-up
advertisements on screen and also places ads inside pages you visit. If

be seeing strange ads appearing on all websites such as facebook,
youtube, amazon etc. Actually The Sea App virus is a freeware
application which integrates with browsers. It pretends to be a program
which will help you buy items online at discount prices but in fact the
purpose of this program is to trick you into purchases goods from the
onoine stores that pay a commission to the creators of The Sea App virus
on each sale. Therefor, to earn more and more money, The Sea App
malware will place its affiliate/partner`s advertisements and deals on
your computer. Moreover, it can change your home page and search
provider to redirect you to its network websites. Such things will make
you hate this program. Anyhow, if you are willing to uninstall The Sea
App virus, follow the instructions below.
To manually remove The Sea App, follow the instructions.
First of all, Uninstall the program. (Skip to the next step if the application is not listed in Control Panel).
“Start > Settings > Control Panel. Now Locate and open “Add or Remove Programs” or “PROGRAMS AND FEATURES”. Find “The Sea App”. Now click Uninstall/Remove.
Now remove the program from Browser.
Internet Explorer users:
Click “Tools” (if on Internet Explorer 9, click gear icon), Then “Manage Add-ons”. Look for The Sea App. Disable if found any.
Block pop-ups of The Sea App
To stop pop-ups from malware,
Click on TOOLS > POP-UP BLOCKER, then click TURN ON POP-UP BLOCKER. and then go to POP-UP BLOCKER SETTINGS. (Type any website you wish to block popups from)
Firefox users:
Go to “Tools” (at the top), > “Add-ons” > “Extensions” and disable “The Sea App”
Chrome Users:
Click “Tools/Settings” (Wrench incon), > “Add-ons” > “Extensions” and disable any file associate with malware.
Disadvantages and risks of having The Sea App:
- It may change & corrupt default settings of browsers like Firefox, Chrome or Internet explorer
- Changes home page and displays unwanted pop-ups advertisements
- Causes frequent web redirects to wrong websites, hijacks search engine settings and leads to unexpected webpages
- Keeps record of browsing activities and interests
- Collects Personal user information which may include sensitive financial data such as logins, usernames, accounts
- It may bring further infections are direct the user to infectious sites
- Makes the browser run slow, uses a big part of system resources
