Remove search.snap.do virus. How to get rid of Snap.do

http://search.snap.do is one of most annoying browser hijack malwares that redirect user to search.snap.do. This application attaches itself to the browser like Firefox, Internet Explorer, Chrome and then changes default search and home page settings. It may also display advertisements popping up on your screen or search.snap.do on other websites. Anyways, the most hated thing of this virus is that it dose not let you find accurate information or access any legit website. Each time you Search on Google or you go to Facebook, Tumbler, Youtube etc, the search.snap.do website will appear instead of the desired page. This infection can be installed on a computer without owner`s permission as it is distributed with freeware programs or even visiting some hacked websites may bring this virus. As search.snap.do virus is a harmful threat to your security, you are advised to uninstall it before it creates a big trouble.

Want to get rid of Browser Hijack Search.Snap.do?:
First of all, Uninstall the program. (Skip to the next step if the application is not listed in Control Panel).
“Start > Settings > Control Panel. Now Locate and open “Add or Remove Programs” or “PROGRAMS AND FEATURES”. Find “Search.Snap.do”. Now click Uninstall/Remove.
Now remove the program from Browser.
Internet Explorer users:
Click “Tools” (if on Internet Explorer 9, click gear icon), Then “Manage Add-ons”. Look for Search.Snap.do. Disable if found any.
Block pop-ups
To stop pop-ups from malware,
Click on TOOLS > POP-UP BLOCKER, then click TURN ON POP-UP BLOCKER. and then go to POP-UP BLOCKER SETTINGS. (Type any website you wish to block popups from)
 Firefox users:
Go to “Tools” (at the top), > “Add-ons” > “Extensions” and disable “Search.Snap.do”
Chrome Users:
Click “Tools/Settings” (Wrench incon), > “Add-ons” > “Extensions” and disable any file associate with malware.
