Dealply popup virus is an annoying adware that can be installed on a
computer while user is downloading freeware softwares from Internet.
Most programs come bundled with such application because they pay a
commission for each install. Anyhow, as soon as Dealply.exe toolbar
application gets executed on a PC, it attacks Firefox, Chrome and IE to
hijack them. It will change default DNS and homepage settings with
asking for your permission. From now on, you,ll face some strange things
happening to your PC. I.e, ads by Dealply start to pop-up on screen, or
its advertisements may appear on facebook, twiiter and any other legit
website accessed from infected PC. Also when searching on Google, yahoo
or being, you are redirected to unexpected websites. If you do not take
action to stop these things, it,ll soon become a pain. Dealply popups
would keep appearing constantly till your uninstall this virus.
Remember, those ads are paid commercials and there is a risk you would
be directed to further infectious websites. Dealply toolbar is also
classified as spyware involved in stealing sensitive user information
from infected computer.
Disadvantages and risks of having adware DealPly:
To manually remove DealPly, follow the instructions.
First of all, Uninstall the program. (Skip to the next step if the application is not listed in Control Panel).
“Start > Settings > Control Panel. Now Locate and open “Add or Remove Programs” or “PROGRAMS AND FEATURES”. Find “DealPly”. Now click Uninstall/Remove.
Now remove the program from Browser.
Internet Explorer users:
Click “Tools” (if on Internet Explorer 9, click gear icon), Then “Manage Add-ons”. Look for DealPly. Disable if found any.
Block pop-ups from DealPly extension
To stop pop-ups from malware,
Click on TOOLS > POP-UP BLOCKER, then click TURN ON POP-UP BLOCKER. and then go to POP-UP BLOCKER SETTINGS. (Type any website you wish to block popups from)
Firefox users:
Go to “Tools” (at the top), > “Add-ons” > “Extensions” and disable “DealPly”
Chrome Users:
Click “Tools/Settings” (Wrench incon), > “Add-ons” > “Extensions” and disable any file associate with malware.

Disadvantages and risks of having adware DealPly:
- It may change & corrupt default settings of browsers like Firefox, Chrome or Internet explorer
- Changes home page and displays unwanted pop-ups advertisements
- Causes frequent web redirects to wrong websites, hijacks search engine settings and leads to unexpected webpages
- Keeps record of browsing activities and interests
- Collects Personal user information which may include sensitive financial data such as logins, usernames, accounts
- It may bring further infections are direct the user to infectious sites
- Makes the browser run slow, uses a big part of system resources
