Remove Search.bearshare.net redirect virus. How to uninstall

Search.bearshare.net redirection is caused by a browser hijack malware which secretly gets installed and then changes default settings of Firefox, Chrome and Internet Explorer. Search.bearshare.net virus is actually a toolbar/extension but once installed, it will take place of default search provider, from now on, each time you go to Google, you will be redirected to http://Search.bearshare.net. This trick is used to promote bearshare.net search engine so its owners could increase their online popularity and boost their income through advertisements displayed on the website. You may notice that home page has also been changed without your permission. These things become annoying when you always get redirected to bearshare.net search while trying to access any other legit webpage. Bearshare search malware also violates your privacy and steals personal information to share with spammers. It should be removed instantly once detected.

To manually remove Search.bearshare.net, follow the instructions.

 Chrome Users:
Click “Tools/Settings” (Wrench incon), > “Add-ons” > “Extensions” and disable any file associate with malware.
