Babylon redirect virus. How to uninstall babylon search bar

Babylon redirect virus is one of most annoying browser hijack malwares. This application gets installed as a search toolbar extension but it malicious alters settings of popular browsers like Firefox, Chrome and Internet Explorer. After this, user on infected PC notices strange activities such as Babylon pop-up ads appearing on system, Google Search results redirecting to Babylon search engine, home page changed to http://Babylon.com which keeps opening this site automatically after every few minutes.
Babylon toolbar plugin might be installed by user from its official website or another way of infection is it comes bundled with freeware softwares. Once it has been installed, you will be irritated and willing to get rid of Babylon. To remove Babylon search toolbar manually, follow the instructions.
First of all, Uninstall the program. (Skip to the next step if the application is not listed in Control Panel).
“Start > Settings > Control Panel. Now Locate and open “Add or Remove Programs” or “PROGRAMS AND FEATURES”. Find “Babylon search toolbar”. Now click Uninstall/Remove.
Now remove the program from Browser.
Internet Explorer users:
Click “Tools” (if on Internet Explorer 9, click gear icon), Then “Manage Add-ons”. Look for Babylon search toolbar. Disable if found any.

To stop pop-ups from malware,
Click on TOOLS > POP-UP BLOCKER, then click TURN ON POP-UP BLOCKER. and then go to POP-UP BLOCKER SETTINGS. (Type any website you wish to block popups from)
 Firefox users:
Go to “Tools” (at the top), > “Add-ons” > “Extensions” and disable “Babylon search toolbar”
 Chrome Users:
Click “Tools/Settings” (Wrench incon), > “Add-ons” > “Extensions” and disable any file associate with malware.
